The Invicta is an easily grown vigorous variety and is perhaps the most widely grown of all the Gooseberries. The berries are large smooth skinned and ripen to a pale yellow colour. The flavour is excellent when green and when fully ripe. This variety can be grown as a bush or on wires, it has a very high yield, double that of some other varieties.
